Japanese beginner conversation 3

すいません (すみません) Excuse me / sorry. Also sometimes it means “Thank you”. When someone is kind to you, you say “すいません” to express your regret for bothering them.
はい Yes
いえ / いいえ No. Basic form is “いいえ”. But when we talk, we often shorten & say “いえ”.
だいじょうぶ It’s OK. / I’m fine / No problem
ちょっと / すこし a little / a bit
つかれた tired
だけ only / just
ですか is it? / are you? (question)
やすむ take a rest. “やすめば” means “if take a rest”. “やすむ” + “すれば” = “やすめば”
あるけます(あるく) can walk. “あるく” is “walk”. “あるける” is can walk. Say polite = “あるけます”
よかったら If you like. Use it when you give something. 
です is am are (put “です” at the end of sensence & become polite.)
あの / あのぅ Excuse me. (used when start speaking.)
これ this
いただきます I’ll get it. / Thank you for the things you gave me. Also we say this when start eating the meal.
では bye / I’m leaving. Read “dewa”. To friend, we use “じゃあ(Jā)” instead.
Don’t say “さよなら(Sayonara)”.  That means “Good bye forever!” We don’t use that!
どうぞ Please / Here you are. Say “どうぞ” when you give / pass something.
