| よかったら | If you like. Use it when you give something. |
| です | is am are (put “です” at the end of sensence & become polite.) |
| あの / あのぅ | Excuse me. (used when start speaking.) |

| いただきます | I’ll get it. / Thank you for the things you gave me. Also we say this when start eating the meal. |
| では | bye / I’m leaving. Read “dewa”. To friend, we use “じゃあ(Jā)” instead. Don’t say “さよなら(Sayonara)”. That means “Good bye forever!” We don’t use that! |
| どうぞ | Please / Here you are. Say “どうぞ” when you give / pass something. |
